Few features. Held with care.
A general agent, not a niche tool
halcyon does not specialise. The same agent reads sources, writes a draft, plans a week, and ships a small script. Whatever you bring it, it works the way you would — slowly, carefully, without theatre.
A patient context window
halcyon holds a long task without summarising it away. The brief, the sources, the half-written draft, the half-built script — they all stay addressable. You can ask about a single line, six hours into the work, and get a real answer.
A composer that respects silence
No autocomplete. No suggested replies. No nudge to keep typing. halcyon does its work and waits. The blank space between turns is part of the work, not a bug in the UX.
Exports that travel
Every session is plain Markdown. Drafts open in Obsidian, in Zed, in a paper notebook printed at home. Code lands in your stack. Your work is not held hostage by the app.
